In 2003, Jeff and Darla Atwood founded Valley Roofing with a simple mission: to provide honest service, exceptional craftsmanship, and treat every customer like family. What began as a small, family-owned roofing company steadily grew into one of the region’s most trusted names in roofing, serving customers throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
As the years passed, the business became more than just a company. It became a family legacy. In 2007, their son-in-law, Marcus Dalrymple, joined Valley Roofing part-time, learning the business from the ground up while balancing other commitments. His dedication to the industry and the company’s values led him to join the business full-time in 2018, where he became an integral part of its operations and continued growth.
In 2020, Jeff and Darla’s youngest daughter, Aimee Atwood-Dalrymple, joined the family business. Working alongside her parents and Marcus, she gained firsthand experience in every aspect of the company while helping prepare Valley Roofing for its next chapter.
When Jeff and Darla retired in 2026, Aimee proudly continued the family legacy as owner and operator, alongside her husband, Marcus, who serves as Director of Operations. Together, they remain committed to the same principles that have guided the company since 2003: integrity, hard work, exceptional craftsmanship, and treating every customer with honesty, respect, and transparency.
As the next generation stepped forward, they wanted to honor the legacy they inherited while building a future of their own. That’s how AMG Roofing & Contracting was born. The name AMG represents Aimee, Marcus, and their daughter, Gia, reflecting the family’s commitment to carrying the tradition forward for generations to come. More than just a name, AMG symbolizes the continuation of a family business built on trust, hard work, and a genuine passion for serving others.
As the business continued to grow, so did its vision.
To better serve both homeowners and commercial clients, the family expanded into two specialized companies. AMG Roofing & Contracting focuses on residential roofing and exterior remodeling, offering roofing, siding, gutters, windows, doors, decking, and complete exterior renovation services tailored to homeowners.
Valley Roofing continues the legacy it has built for more than two decades by focusing exclusively on commercial roofing. From schools and churches to municipalities, industrial facilities, multi-family properties, and commercial buildings, Valley Roofing delivers dependable roofing solutions backed by decades of experience.
Although each company has its own specialty, they operate under the same family ownership, leadership, and values. Whether we’re replacing the roof on a family’s home or completing a large-scale commercial roofing project, every customer receives the same commitment to quality, communication, and craftsmanship that Jeff and Darla established over twenty years ago.
More than two decades after Valley Roofing was founded, the vision that started with Jeff and Darla continues through the next generation. What began as one family business has grown into two companies with one shared mission: to deliver exceptional craftsmanship, honest service, and lasting relationships while protecting what matters most.
